Job summary

SSA Consulting Group in Galway is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to work on complex civil and structural design projects. The role offers hybrid working and opportunities to deliver design solutions across a range of Irish clients.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in civil/structural engineering, 3+ years of design experience, and strong English communication. You will engage in supervision, site reports, and mentoring junior engineers while advancing your career.

Qualifications

• Degree in civil/structural engineering (Level 8 minimum).
• At least 3 years' design experience in structural engineering.
• Strong written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain current knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and design processes such as structural analysis and design software packages.
• Work on a diverse range of projects.
• Conduct site inspections and report on the findings.
• Manual calculations using software packages (Tekla Structural Designer, Robot, TEDDS, Revit, AutoCAD).
• Mentoring junior employees.

Our client designs, manages projects, and supervises construction on behalf of recognised Irish Clients, operating in both the Public & Private market.
