Responsibilities: The successful candidate will contribute to innovative projects, leveraging their expertise in structural design to deliver high-quality solutions. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, you will ensure projects are executed to the highest standards, adhering to industry regulations and best practices.

  1. Design and develop structural solutions for precast concrete elements across various projects (commercial, industrial, agricultural, and civil);
  2. Prepare and review structural calculations in line with Eurocodes and Irish/UK building standards;
  3. Collaborate with production, draughting, and project teams to ensure designs are both efficient and buildable;
  4. Liaise with clients, architects, and contractors to deliver practical and cost-effective structural solutions;
  5. Carry out site visits where necessary to provide technical support and oversee installation;
  6. Assist in R&D efforts for new products and systems.

Criteria:

  • Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering;
  • 3-5 years of experience in structural design, preferably within the Irish or UK markets (ideally in precast or reinforced concrete);
  • Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla);
  • Familiarity with Eurocodes and British Standards;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
