Job summary

Verizon Communications seeks a Strategic Sourcing Specialist to drive contract development and execution across the enterprise, delivering optimal total contract value and strong supplier partnerships.

You’ll apply agile sourcing practices, manage cross‑functional teams, and perform financial analyses to support CST commitments while coordinating with legal and category stakeholders for a streamlined lifecycle.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and/or relevant work experience in procurement, sourcing or supply chain.
Certifications in CPSM/CPM/CIPS.
Experience leading meetings/conference calls and giving presentations to small audiences.
Knowledge of Verizon approved AI Tools like Gemini and Gemini Notebook.
Willingness to work a flexible shift to meet project completion requirements.
Willingness to continuously learn new tools, solutions, and emerging technologies.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute sourcing contracts across the enterprise to achieve the best total contract value.
Negotiate and execute sourcing contracts with business teams, in collaboration with Legal and contract management.
Manage steps of the sourcing process: request review, contract drafting, reviews.
Lead cross‑functional teams to meet CST commitments and supplier objectives.
Perform financial and business data analysis to ensure Total Value of Ownership.
Support documents and process development for sourcing activities.
Manage supplier relationships and negotiate terms for key suppliers.
Coordinate with category teams, legal, and stakeholders to streamline the contract lifecycle.
