Job summary

HireForce is partnering with a leading national organisation to recruit a Project Accountant who will take financial ownership of a major international event in Ireland. Reporting to the CFO, you will sit at the heart of the event project team, guiding budgeting, procurement and financial controls from planning through live delivery.

You'll build budgets, forecast across multiple workstreams, manage cash flow, and provide regular financial reporting to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CPA/CIMA qualification or equivalent.
• 2+ years PQE in accounting.
• Experience budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage the overall event budget.
• Develop forecasts and monitor expenditure across workstreams.
• Manage cash flow and funding requirements.
• Provide regular financial reporting to CFO and leadership.
• Support procurement and supplier management.
• Lead financial reconciliation and close-out after the event.
