Job summary

Timoney Dynamic Solutions Limited is seeking a Procurement & Supply Chain Manager in Navan to lead purchasing, supplier management, inventory control, spares and MRO procurement. The role focuses on developing a resilient, cost-effective supply chain to support engineering, production and aftermarket requirements.

The successful candidate will improve supplier performance, manage stock levels, and implement procurement strategies that align with finance, operations and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, Operations Management or related.
• MCIPS/ASCM/APICS or equivalent desirable.
• 5+ years in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, materials management or inventory control.
• Experience procuring engineered components, production materials, spare parts, MRO items, tooling, consumables or services.
• Strong experience negotiating with suppliers and contracts.
• Understanding of ERP/MRP, inventory management and data-driven planning.
• Strong commercial, analytical and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing and procurement of production components, engineered parts and services.
• Develop structured procurement approach for spares and MRO; ensure items are identified and stocked.
• Create stocking policies for spare parts, MRO items and production materials.
• Define and implement a company-wide procurement and supply-chain strategy.
• Optimise working capital while preventing stockouts and delays.
• Build a resilient supplier base for low-volume, high-value engineering and MRO needs.
• Negotiate supplier agreements, pricing, service levels and lead times.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality and Production to meet specs and traceability.
