Job summary

West Pharmaceutical Services, Inc. is hiring a Material & Supply Chain Planner in Waterford, Ireland. This hybrid role requires onsite presence three days per week and focuses on ensuring material availability to meet production goals and customer demand.

The role involves coordinating across procurement, suppliers, warehouse and planning teams, managing MRP signals, shortages, and stock classifications while supporting continuous improvement initiatives in supply chain processes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or related discipline.
5+ years of material planning or supply chain experience in manufacturing.
Experience with cross‑functional planning and data accuracy.
Experience with SAP MM/PP and BI/reporting tools.

Responsibilities

Ensure timely availability of raw materials, components, and consumables to support production schedules.
Coordinate material flow across suppliers, planning, warehouse, and procurement.
Monitor stock levels and lead times, review MRP outputs and exception messages.
Lead monthly re-categorisation and packaging review activities.
Prepare shortage, open order, expiry-risk and stock classification reports.
