Job summary

FAAC Electronics Limited, part of FAAC Technologies, is seeking a Material Planner to manage suppliers of electrical/electromechanical components and ensure production continuity at Citywest, Dublin 24. You will liaise between suppliers and planning to optimize inventories and resolve issues affecting schedule adherence.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year in Purchasing or Planning, strong English communication, and a working knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, plus MS Office.

Qualifications

• Right to work in Ireland and availability to start within 6-8 weeks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• IIPMM, APICS or equivalent Purchasing qualification (Desirable but not essential).
• 1+ Years Purchasing or Planning experience.
• Technical proficiency with ERP systems like SAP and solid knowledge of MS Office.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability problems solving.
• Proactive mind-set with strong communication skills.
• Experience in Manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Manage components from suppliers to guarantee Business Continuity and smooth production planning.
• Act as the key liaison between suppliers and the production planning team.
• Ensure materials are available at the right time to support production processes and inventories.
• Execute PO management: convert requisitions to orders, confirm orders, resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor inventory levels and address delivery issues with stores and suppliers.
• Drive vendor performance through On-Time Delivery (OTD) reports and supplier relationships.
