Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. seeks a Senior Director to lead Infrastructure Data Architecture, defining target data architecture, governance, and domain data products.

You will influence senior stakeholders, drive cross‑product collaborations, and ensure scalable, secure, and well-governed data assets for analytics and reporting. In this role you will set architectural direction, partner with product lines, governance, security and risk teams, and mentor architects and engineers to deliver measurable

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on architecture concepts.
• Significant experience as an Infrastructure data architect in regulated environments.
• Expertise in data modeling, schema evolution, and data contracts.
• Proven data governance, metadata/lineage, and data quality framework experience.
• Experience with batch and streaming patterns and data access APIs.
• Experience with modern lakehouse/warehouse concepts and data products thinking.
• Ability to influence senior leaders, resolve cross-team dependencies, and drive adoption.
• Experience defining measurable outcomes (SLOs/KPIs) and scalable operating models.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture programs across departments to meet firmwide objectives.
• Own and evolve the IP Data target-state architecture and data contracts.
• Set reuse-first expectations for enterprise AI adoption with governance and risk controls.
• Provide leadership to teams and guide architecture decisions across platforms.
• Interface with senior leaders to communicate strategy and standards.
• Establish governance for AI-assisted workflows with auditability and risk controls.
• Translate business capabilities into data products and datasets with clear SLAs.
• Mentor architects and engineers and build domain capability through practice.
