HKC Security, part of the ASSA ABLOY Group, is seeking a Strategic Buyer - Electronics & Supply Chain based in Ballymount, Dublin. You will own strategic sourcing for electronic components and PCBAs, ensuring a resilient, cost-efficient global electronics supply chain for our security products.

Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain & Operations, you will negotiate with suppliers, lead cost-reduction initiatives, manage EMS providers, and collaborate with R&D, Production, Product Management and

Qualifikationen

• Significant strategic purchasing experience within the electronics industry.
• Experience managing EMS providers and international suppliers.
• Knowledge of BOM management, component lifecycle, NPI and cost reduction.
• Strong commercial, negotiation, analytical and project-management skills.
• Familiar with UK and Irish market compliance.

Aufgaben

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for electronic components and materials.
• Negotiate pricing, lead times and commercial agreements with suppliers and distributors.
• Build relationships with manufacturers, distributors and EMS providers.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks including shortages and obsolescence.
• Support NPI and cost-reduction initiatives with R&D and Product Management.
