Job summary

MCS Group is recruiting a Senior AI & Transformation Strategy Lead for an organisation undertaking a strategic review of its capital investment programme. This role shapes how AI, data and digital technology can improve investment decisions, productivity, cost management and risk, by translating strategy into pilots, business cases and implementation.

Travel to client sites in the UK will be required from time to time.

Qualifications

Significant senior experience in strategy, business transformation or digital transformation.
Proven experience developing and implementing AI initiatives and measurable business outcomes.
Ability to influence executive teams and senior programme leaders.

Responsibilities

Review capital investment portfolio to identify opportunities for AI and digital transformation.
Develop AI and data strategy aligned with priorities and challenges.
Assess applications for generative AI, agentic technologies and analytics.
Build business cases and investment proposals with clear benefits and success metrics.
Prioritise opportunities, shape pilots and develop implementation roadmaps.
Lead collaboration across business, technology and external delivery teams.
Support organisational changes needed for successful adoption.
