Job summary

National Vehicle Distribution in Naas, Ireland, is seeking a proactive warehouse professional to join our core inventory and stock management team. You will ensure goods inwards, stock organization and regular auditing keep the stores running smoothly.

As part of workshop support and distribution, you will dispatch parts to workshop colleagues, liaise with suppliers for urgent needs and provide high-quality service to the workshop team.

Qualifications

• Experience in stock management or warehouse operations.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling parts.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Goods Inwards: verify deliveries and log items against delivery notes.
• Stock Organization: place parts into designated storage locations for efficiency.
• Auditing: participate in regular stock checks and counts.
• Parts Dispatch: distribute materials to workshop colleagues to maintain speed of vehicle preparation.
• Supplier Liaison: collect parts from suppliers for urgent requirements.
• Internal Service: act as a primary point of contact within stores for workshop staff.
• General Maintenance & Safety: keep workshop and stores area clean and compliant with safety standards.

Core Inventory & Stock Management

• Goods Inwards: Receive all incoming parts deliveries, verifying accuracy against delivery notes and ensuring items are correctly logged.




• Stock Organization: Place parts into their designated storage locations to maintain an organized and efficient warehouse layout.




• Auditing: Participate in regular stock checks and inventory counts to ensure system accuracy and prevent shortages.

Workshop Support & Distribution

• Parts Dispatch: Distribute required materials and components directly to workshop colleagues to ensure vehicle preparation moves at a fast pace.




• Supplier Liaison: Collect parts directly from suppliers when necessary to fulfil urgent requirements.




• Internal Service: Act as a primary point of contact within the stores for workshop staff, providing a high-quality and efficient service.

Operational Support (Quiet Periods)

• General Maintenance: Assist with the cleaning and general upkeep of the workshop and stores area.




• Safety & Standards: Ensure all tasks are carried out with a high eye for detail and in compliance with company safety standards.
