Job summary

Vision Ireland is seeking a Store Manager for the Killarney store in Co. Kerry. You will lead a diverse team, drive store turnover and revenues, supervise KPIs including sales and wages, and ensure high standards of customer service, compliance, and security.

The role requires retail supervisory experience, a motivational leadership style, and a commitment to community outreach. Eligibility to work in the EEA is essential.

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed ongoing store sales targets.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards aligned with promotions.
• Recruit and develop staff, volunteers, and activation team members to boost service.
• Ensure adequate staffing for daily/weekly trading periods.
• Maintain a clean, professional store appearance and high quality goods.
• Oversee inventory, pricing, presentation, and stock rotation.
• Manage banking, till receipts, and cash handling procedures.
• Lead store and community fundraising efforts.
• Promote Vision Ireland brand locally while upholding brand standards.
• Ensure health and safety compliance, training, and fire procedures.
