Intersport Elverys is a recognised market leader in Irish sports retail with 44 stores. The Store Management role focuses on day-to-day operations, driving sales, team leadership and delivering excellent customer experiences across the network.

You will manage cash, budgets and security, while promoting visual merchandising and in-store services. This role requires strong leadership, people skills and IT proficiency including Excel, Email and SAP.

Formación

• 2/3 years retail management experience (dependent on store grade).
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, people management and leadership skills.
• Passionate about the delivery of an excellent customer experience with an understanding of how this drives sales and affects the bottom line.
• Experience in Visual Merchandising desirable.
• Proficient IT knowledge including Excel, Email, SAP.
• 3rd Level Business/Retail Management Qualification beneficial but not essential.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee day-to-day store operations, including sales, team, customer experience, security, health & safety, stock and resources management.
• Meet and exceed store targets and KPIs.
• Recruit, train, coach and manage team members per policy.
• Manage cash, wage costs, budgets and systems such as TMS, BC.
• Drive Visual Merchandising in-store to engage and educate customers.
• Ensure in-store services are well staffed and promoted (e.g., Safesize, Assisted Selling).
• Observe security guidelines to deter theft and protect stock.
• Uphold Health & Safety policy and train staff accordingly.
• Identify customer requirements and develop additional non-direct business.
• Implement projects aligned with company expectations and maintain store standards.
• Act as key holder and main call-out person during alarm activations.
• Provide cover for other stores as required.
• Perform other duties to ensure successful store operation.

Our Store Management teams are responsible for the overall operations and sales performance of our stores and ensuring that the right people and product are in place to achieve and exceed Company expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Every aspect of day-to-day operations in the store, including sales, team members, customer experience, security, health & safety, stock and resources management.

Meet and exceed store targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Recruit, train, coach and manage team members in line with company policies, ensuring fairness and consistency to all.

Manage all cash, wage costs, budgets and systems administration as required (TMS, BC, etc).

Drive excellent Visual Merchandising in store to engage, inspire and educate the consumer.

Ensure all in-store services are suitably manned and promoted, e.g. Safesize, Assisted Selling, etc.

Be security conscious ensuring to follow company security guidelines aimed at deterring pilferage and protecting stock.

Responsible for overall Health & Safety in store. Ensure all team members are fully trained and following company policies and procedures with regard to Health & Safety.

Identify current and future customer requirements & develop additional non-direct business.

Ensure successful implementation of projects in line with company expectations.

Deliver excellent store standards consistently in line with business expectations.

Key holder and main call out person in the event of alarm activation.

Provide cover for other stores as required.

Any other activities as required in order to ensure the successful operation of the store.
