JYSK Ballincollig in Cork is seeking a proactive Store Manager to lead a busy retail operation. You will drive sales, coach the team and maintain high standards of customer service and store presentation.

Reporting to Teamworx and working closely with a Deputy Store Manager, you will recruit, train and develop staff, deliver KPIs, and ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations across the store in Ballincollig with occasional coverage at other local outlets.

Qualifications

• Previous management experience at Deputy Store Manager / Assistant Store Manager level or above.
• Proven experience managing teams and delivering results.
• A positive, approachable personality with excellent communication skills.

The Opportunity

As Store Manager, you'll be responsible for the overall performance, people and day‑to‑day operations of JYSK's Ballincollig store.

Working alongside your Deputy Store Manager, you'll create a positive team environment while ensuring the store delivers excellent customer service and strong commercial results.

Your key responsibilities will include:

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a confident, motivated manager who enjoys a fast‑paced environment and knows how to get the best from their team.

To be successful in this role, you'll bring:

Previous management experience at Deputy Store Manager / Assistant Store Manager level or above.

Proven experience managing teams and delivering results.

A positive, approachable personality with excellent communication skills.

A hands‑on management style and willingness to get involved in all aspects of store operations.

Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively.

Commercial awareness with experience working towards sales targets and KPIs.

Confidence in decision‑making, problem‑solving and managing challenges.

Retail experience is preferred but not essential. Applications are welcomed from experienced managers in other fast‑paced, customer‑facing environments with strong transferable skills.

A full driving licence would be advantageous but is not essential. The role is based in Ballincollig, with occasional support to other stores in the area potentially required.
