Responsibilities
  • Drive innovation in store layout and space utilization to enhance our customer experience and operational efficiency.
  • Lead the Store Format and Space Planning team to achieve excellence in line with Woodie’s business plan.
  • Collaborate with the Merchandising Manager and commercial teams to ensure cohesive strategies across all store formats.
  • Engage with store teams to gather insights and feedback to refine space planning and store layouts.
  • Develop and implement store layout plans to align with Woodie’s branding and sales strategy.
  • Manage the entire lifecycle of space planning from conceptual design to implementation, ensuring optimal use of space and resources.
  • Analyse sales data and customer flow to inform space planning decisions and improve store performance.
  • Visit and engage with store colleagues during store visits in a positive and encouraging demeanour.
  • Play an active role and contribute to the general strategic direction of the business.
  • Support and co-ordinate with other key functions including but not limited to Category, Wider Supply Chain, Operations and Marketing.
