Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group in Galway is seeking a Store Assistant- Kitchen Attendant to support our kitchen and purchasing operations. You will manage storage, handle deliveries, and ensure par stock levels while maintaining HACCP compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in purchasing is a key advantage.
• Hotel experience is a key advantage.
• Kelsius experience is preferable.
• Procure Wizard experience is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Manage the storage and requisitioning of all food and beverage items, ensuring adherence to par stock levels.
• Accept all deliveries, check for damage, and ensure compliance with HACCP regulations.
• Store all deliveries properly, including perishable items, implementing FIFO rotation.
• Handle storage and requisitioning of cleaning chemicals, stationery, and disposables, maintaining par stock levels.
• Take ownership of the purchasing process, from orders to verifying deliveries on arrival.
• Source, select, and negotiate optimal purchasing packages with suppliers.

Your Job

• Manage the storage and requisitioning of all food and beverage items, ensuring adherence to par stock levels.
• Accept all deliveries, check for damage, and ensure compliance with HACCP regulations.
• Store all deliveries properly, including perishable food items, implementing a first-in, first-out rotation system.
• Handle the storage and requisitioning of all cleaning chemicals, stationery items, and disposables, maintaining appropriate par stock levels.
• Take full ownership of the purchasing process, from processing orders to verifying deliveries upon arrival.
• Source, select, and negotiate optimal purchasing packages based on quality, price, terms, delivery schedules, and services with suppliers.
