Job summary

Noel Recruitment Incorporated Ltd. is seeking a Deputy Steel Yard & Warehouse Supervisor in Cork City to lead and support yard and warehouse operations. The role involves coordinating inbound and outbound loads, ensuring accurate stock control, and maintaining safety standards.

The ideal candidate will be hands-on, reliable, and capable of developing into a more senior leadership role over time. A full clean driving licence, forklift experience, and ERP/WMS familiarity are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Must have supervisory or leadership potential.
• Ability to work in a team and take ownership.
• Forklift certification and/or operating experience preferred.
• Experience with ERP or warehouse management systems.
• Full clean driving licence and ability to work overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day running of steel yard and warehouse operations.
• Assist with planning inbound/outbound loads and order fulfillment.
• Maintain accurate stock records and use ERP/WMS for stock control.
• Liaise with logistics providers for deliveries and collections.
• Promote health and safety across the operation.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and service levels.
