Job summary

PRO Stainless is recruiting experienced stainless steel polishers to join the Ardee team. The role reports to the Polishing Team Leader and involves grinding, polishing and finishing components to exacting standards while maintaining safety and quality in a busy manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years polishing or similar industry experience.
• Self-motivated with safety and attention to detail.
• High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
• A curious mindset and willingness to learn new techniques and processes.
• Experience in a busy manufacturing environment is desirable.
• Flexible, hardworking attitude.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Initiative to work independently and complete tasks without supervision.

Responsibilities

• Grind, polish and finish stainless steel products to high specification and quality standards.
• Finish products to a very fine surface where required.
• Read and work from fabrication drawings.
• Examine metal surfaces and welded joints for defects, dents or imperfections and rectify as required.
• Work as part of a team to deliver high-quality products within required timeframes.
• Clean components prior to inspection and shipping.
• Work to required safety and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and tidy work area to promote a safe and productive working environment.

About the Role

Due to ongoing expansion, we are recruiting experienced Stainless Steel Polishers to join our dynamic, proactive and diverse team at PRO Stainless.

Reporting to the Polishing Team Leader, you’ll play an important role in producing high-quality stainless steel products, grinding, polishing and finishing components to exacting standards while maintaining a strong focus on quality, safety and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Grind, polish and finish stainless steel products to high specification and quality standards
• Finish products to a very fine surface where required
• Read and work from fabrication drawings
• Examine metal surfaces and welded joints for defects, dents or imperfections and rectify as required
