Job summary

NASSAU ENGINEERING LTD. in Dublin specialises in stainless and carbon steel fabrication for sectors from aerospace to construction.

You will work hands-on with metal sheet fabrication, cutting, shaping and assembling precision components to client specifications, in both workshop and site environments. The role requires experience in stainless steel fabrication, carbon steel and TIG/MIG welding, a recognized apprenticeship is preferred, and blueprints must be read accurately.

Qualifications

• Experience in stainless steel fabrication and carbon steel work is required.
• Knowledge reading blueprints/diagrams.
• Welder certifications (MIG/TIG) are advantageous.
• Preferable to have completed a recognized apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Operate tools and machinery including semi-CNC equipment, welders, grinders, guillotines, punch press and rollers.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Measure and cut metal sheets with precision.
• Perform quality control checks to ensure final products meet standards.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness in work areas.
