Job summary

Cpl Healthcare is recruiting an Ophthalmology Staff Nurse to join a leading eye care service in Dublin. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop specialist ophthalmology skills while maintaining an excellent work-life balance, with a Monday to Friday pattern and no night shifts.

You will rotate throughout the Eye Department, gaining experience across Eye Scanning and Diagnostic Services, Outpatient Clinics, Eye Injection Service and Minor Laser Eye Surgery within a highly skilled

Qualifications

• Active NMBI registration.
• Previous acute hospital nursing experience.
• Ophthalmology experience essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational and clinical assessment abilities.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through the Eye Department to gain exposure across services.
• Work across Eye Scanning and Diagnostic Services and Outpatient Clinics.
• Provide eye injections where appropriate and assist with minor laser eye surgery.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver specialist ophthalmic care.

Cpl Healthcare is recruiting an Ophthalmology Staff Nurse to join a leading eye care service in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse looking to develop specialist skills within ophthalmology while enjoying an excellent work-life balance. The department operates predominantly Monday to Friday, with no night shifts and offers exposure to a wide range of ophthalmic services and procedures.

The successful candidate will rotate throughout the Eye Department, gaining experience across:

• Eye Scanning and Diagnostic Services
• Outpatient Clinics
• Eye Injection Service
• Minor Laser Eye Surgery

You will be part of a highly skilled multidisciplinary team delivering specialist care across a broad range of services including Cataract Surgery, Glaucoma Care, Medical and Surgical Retina Services, Refractive (Laser Eye) Surgery, Corneal Surgery, Ophthalmic Oculoplastic Surgery, Paediatric Ophthalmology and Neuro-Ophthalmology

Requirements
