Qualifications

Job description

TTM Healthcare are currently recruiting a Staff Nurse/Care Coordinator on behalf of a Disability Service based in Waterford City.

This is a permanent contract working 35 hours per week.

Salary: €16.95 - €23.98 per hour

The Role:

You will lead and manage while mentoring and supervising our frontline care support teams while the team supports individuals in all aspects of their daily lives and activities. You will oversee and ensure the provision of the highest quality clinical care to individuals within the services you support. You will be required to establish and maintain relationships with the people we support that are based on respect and equality and that promote their rights and independence.

The Service:

Residential living
Modern building with self-contained apartments
6 apartments located externally to the main building
14 residents and 2 respite places

Requirements:

  • Currently residing and hold eligibility to work in Ireland is essential.
  • In possession of a nursing qualification and registered in the general division RNID, RND and RPN with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) would be an advantage.
  • Have line management or significant supervisory experience within the disability or broad personal social services field.
  • Be Microsoft Office efficient and have awareness of an Employee Management System and rostering.
  • Awareness of an Applicant Tracking System will also be an advantage.
  • Have experience in the delivery of training to staff at all levels.
  • Can demonstrate evidence-based decision-making skills.
  • Driving license and willingness to drive for work.
