Job summary

Evergreen Care in Ireland is seeking a dedicated Staff Nurse to join our team on a part-time, permanent basis. You will provide high standards of resident care, work within the Home's day-to-day operations and uphold National Standards for Residential Care Settings for Older People in Ireland.

The role requires NMBI registration (or eligibility), strong communication and teamwork, and the ability to work independently on a 12-hour shift pattern. Garda vetting and references are required.

Qualifications

• Be registered with NMBI or be entitled to be so registered.
• Evidence of continuous professional development.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and proven written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work on own initiative

Responsibilities

• Ensure the delivery of the highest standard of care to Residents.
• Assist in the day-to-day management of the Home in line with National Standards for Residential Care Settings for Older People in Ireland.
• Always represent the nursing home and act in the best interest of the nursing home and its residents.
• Be self-motivated with a desire to work as part of a team focused on developing improved models of care within the Home.
• Be proactive in seeking opportunities for improvements and embrace change.
