Job summary

Sunhill Nursing Home, part of the Evergreen Care Group, invites applications for a Healthcare Assistant to join our caring team across multiple departments. We offer flexible full-time and part-time roles with permanent and fixed-term contracts.

Evergreen Care Group provides long- and short-term residential care across twelve homes nationwide, focusing on elder care with a warm, community-focused atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Energetic and enthusiastic.

Responsibilities

• Provide Quality Care and Support: Ensure the safety, dignity, and well-being of all residents.
• Maintain Resident Confidentiality: Protect residents’ personal and medical information in accordance with privacy laws and facility policies.
• Promote a Safe and Clean Environment: Follow hygiene, infection control, and safety procedures.
• Communicate Effectively: Maintain open and respectful communication with residents, families, coworkers, and supervisors.
• Work as Part of a Team: Collaborate with colleagues to provide coordinated and consistent care.
• Follow Facility Policies and Procedures: Adhere to all organizational policies, protocols, and standards of conduct.
• Demonstrate Professionalism: Exhibit reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude.
• Participate in Training and Development: Attend required training sessions and stay current with best practices.

Healthcare Assistant

Sunhill Nursing Home, part of the Evergreen Care Group, is currently inviting applications from compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team across a range of roles and departments.

About the role

Role & Responsibilities:

1. Provide Quality Care and Support

   • Collaborate with colleagues to provide coordinated and consistent care.

   • Participate in team meetings and contribute to care planning as needed.

6. Follow Facility Policies and Procedures

   • Adhere to all organizational policies, protocols, and standards of conduct.

   • Stay informed of updates to procedures and regulations.

7. Demonstrate Professionalism

8. Participate in Training and Development
