Clinical Psychologist – Children’s Disability Services

Cpl Healthcare is currently recruiting a passionate and experienced Clinical Psychologists to join our dedicated team within the Community Healthcare Organisation Dublin North City and County. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and young people facing complex emotional, behavioural, and mental health challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver comprehensive psychological assessments and evidence-based therapeutic interventions for children and adolescents.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues to design and implement tailored care plans.
  • Offer consultation, clinical supervision, and support to team members and trainee psychologists.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date clinical records in accordance with service protocols.
  • Contribute to service development, policy implementation, and ongoing quality improvement.
  • Stay current with the latest research and best practices in child and adolescent psychology.
  • Develop and deliver training and psychoeducational programmes for families and professionals.
  • Uphold the ethical standards of the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI) and other regulatory bodies.
Essential Requirements:
  • Postgraduate qualification in Clinical or Educational Psychology (must be validated by the Dept of Health in Ireland).
  • Minimum 3 years' post-qualification experience in a clinical setting.
  • Eligible for registration with the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI).
  • Strong assessment and therapeutic skills across a variety of clinical presentations.
  • Experience supporting children and adolescents with complex mental health needs.
  • Proven ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills.
  • Previous experience in a Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS).
  • Training in specific therapeutic approaches (e.g., CBT, DBT, systemic therapy).
  • Experience delivering training or psychoeducation to families or professionals
