Job summary

European Tech Recruit is seeking a Staff Embedded Software Engineer to join a technology partner building next‑generation chipsets and interconnects. You will design, develop and optimise embedded firmware and drivers for PCIe and CXL subsystems, collaborating with hardware and architecture teams to deliver high‑performance, reliable software.

You will bring 7+ years of embedded software experience, deep C knowledge, and hands‑on expertise in PCIe, CXL, RTOS, Linux kernel, ACPI/UEFI and Zephyr

Qualifications

• 7+ years of embedded software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in C programming.
• Deep hands-on expertise in PCIe and CXL technologies.
• Experience with real-time operating systems and embedded platforms.
• Familiarity with ACPI, UEFI, Linux Kernel, and Zephyr.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, debug, and commercialise embedded firmware and drivers for PCIe and CXL subsystems.
• Develop low-level software for next-generation chipsets and interconnect technologies.

This role focuses on embedded firmware and driver development for PCIe and CXL subsystems, working closely with hardware and architecture teams to deliver standards-compliant software and optimise performance, power efficiency, and reliability.
