Job summary

E-Frontiers in Dublin is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to help build, operate and scale AI and data platform foundations across the business. This hybrid role requires 3 days in the office and offers a 12-month contract with extension potential.

You will own reliability of critical services, monitor platform health with Splunk and Dynatrace, and drive automation across CI/CD pipelines using Git/Bitbucket, Jenkins, Maven, Artifactory and Chef.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in SRE/DevOps or similar environment.
• Strong scripting and technical skills across Unix/Linux, Shell, SQL and Python.
• Hands-on experience with Splunk, Dynatrace and CI/CD tooling (Git/Jenkins).
• Experience supporting AI/ML, data platforms or large-scale distributed systems.
• Problem solving and ownership with a proactive automation mindset.

Responsibilities

• Own the reliability and lifecycle of critical services from design to production operation.
• Monitor and optimise platform health, availability, latency and performance with Splunk and Dynatrace.
• Drive automation and DevOps practices across CI/CD pipelines using Git/Bitbucket, Jenkins, Maven, Artifactory and Chef.
• Support production AI, data and distributed platforms, troubleshooting complex issues and improving resilience.
• Collaborate with Development, Operations and Product teams on incident response, post-mortems and capacity planning.

Senior Site Reliability Engineer - AI & Data Platforms
CONTRACT: 12 months, potential extension
LOCATION: Dublin - Hybrid, 3 days in office
RATE: Up to €700/day

The Opportunity

Join a global technology and payments organisation working at the forefront of AI, data and digital innovation. As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, you'll help build, operate and scale the foundational platforms supporting next-generation AI capabilities across the business.

This is an opportunity to work across SRE, DevOps, AI platforms, observability and automation, with significant exposure to large-scale distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Own the reliability and lifecycle of critical services, from design and launch through to production operation and continuous improvement.
• Monitor and optimise platform health, availability, latency and performance using tools such as Splunk and Dynatrace.
• Drive automation and DevOps best practices across CI/CD pipelines, using technologies including Git/Bitbucket, Jenkins, Maven, Artifactory and Chef.
• Support production AI, data and distributed platforms, troubleshooting complex issues and improving resilience and recovery times.
• Work closely with Development, Operations and Product teams, contributing to incident response, post-mortems, capacity planning and operational readiness.

About You

• 5+ years' experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, Production Engineering or a similar environment.
• Strong scripting and technical skills across Unix/Linux, Shell, SQL and Python.
• Hands-on experience with Splunk, Dynatrace and CI/CD tooling, particularly Jenkins and Git.
• Experience supporting AI/ML, data platforms or large-scale distributed systems would be highly advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and ownership skills, with a proactive approach to automation and continuous improvement.
