Job summary

Mastercard is seeking a Senior Specialist to shape the Product Experience Design for its Crypto Solutions portfolio. You will design intuitive, customer-centric experiences that turn complex risk signals into actionable insights, from onboarding to monitoring and reporting.

You will collaborate with Product, PMTs, and Engineers to translate strategy into practical, scalable interfaces, delivering wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs backed by user research.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in a user experience function, including a tactical skillset in designing and validating solutions.
• Enterprise software, fintech, payments, compliance, fraud, cybersecurity experience; blockchain exposure is a plus.
• Ability to execute tactical design outputs with senior-level support as needed.
• Experience with Copilot, Figma Make and other generative AI tools.
• Familiarity with design thinking principles.
• A passion to be the empathetic advocate for the customer by turning complexity into simple solutions.
• Proficiency in Figma for UX prototyping and design systems.
• Experience leveraging design systems.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint for communicating design concepts and product ideas.
• Comfort collaborating across Product, PMT, Engineering, and Data Science in a fast-moving, cross-functional environment.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end user experiences for Crypto Solutions products, including onboarding, researching, monitoring, and reporting journeys.
• Apply best-practice UX methods to identify solutions to customer problems, experiment to validate them, and create final deliverables for Engineering partners.
• Work closely with Product Managers, PMTs, and Engineers to translate product strategy and customer needs into intuitive digital experiences.
• Develop user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs, and validate them through user research and usability testing.
• Design communications and decks to pitch new product ideas and concepts to stakeholders.
• Support hands-on product-feature design within initiatives, contributing to timely, quality deliverables that meet stated goals.
• Work as part of a functional team, partnering with senior-level peers to gain experience and grow design skillset over time.

Overview

The Crypto Solutions team within Mastercard's Financial Crimes organization is driving the next generation of risk, compliance, and security solutions that enable financial institutions to safely participate in the rapidly evolving digital asset ecosystem. As traditional financial infrastructure converges with blockchain-based payment networks, the need for trusted, scalable, and intelligent risk management capabilities has never been greater.

We are seeking a Senior Specialist, Product Experience Design to help shape the future of Mastercard's Crypto Solutions portfolio. This role will be responsible for designing intuitive, customer-centric experiences that simplify complex risk, compliance, and security signals into actionable insights.

You will empathize with our customers to understand their needs and motivations, define user problems, design end-to-end journeys and experiment with these ideas to bring new designs - consistent with Mastercard's design standards - from concept through to development, working closely with Product, PMTs, and Engineers on a regular basis.
