Job summary
Ministry Brands is seeking a Senior .NET Developer for our Galway R&D hub. You will work in a cross-functional Scrum team delivering features from UI to backend and deployment in a cloud-native environment.
The ideal candidate has 6+ years of full-stack experience with .NET tech, RESTful APIs, SQL Server, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes). Hybrid work from Galway office, with growth opportunities in a modern SaaS platform.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of professional software development in a full-stack role.
- Strong experience with Microsoft .NET technologies: C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, Entity Framework/EF Core.
- RESTful APIs, XML, JSON experience.
- Cloud experience (Azure preferred; AWS/GCP acceptable).
- Docker and Kubernetes experience.
- Git and CI/CD (Azure DevOps or similar).
- Agile/Scrum/Kanban SDLC knowledge.
- Excellent cross-team communication.

We are seeking a Senior .NET Developer to join our Galway-based R&D team. As part of a cross-functional Scrum team, you will contribute to building new features and solutions end-to-end, from UI to backend to deployment. You’ll work collaboratively across product, UX, and engineering to deliver high-performing, scalable applications that power our SaaS offerings.

- Collaborate with your team to define, design, and implement innovative software solutions
- Develop, test, and deploy high-quality application code in both frontend and backend components

- Strong experience with Microsoft .NET technologies:
- Languages/Frameworks: C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, Entity Framework / EF Core
- Web Services: RESTful APIs, XML, JSON
- Exposure to PHP or Python
- Strong experience with SQL and relational databases: SQL Server, Azure SQL
- Experience with Azure cloud services (or AWS/GCP equivalent)
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes
- Experience with source control (Git), CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or similar)
- Familiarity with SDLC methodologies: Agile (Scrum, Kanban)
- Experience in contributing to end-to-end product lifecycle
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Experience with Azure Pipelines, Azure Git, Visual Studio, VS Code
- Experience working on cloud-native SaaS applications
- Strong analytical skills and a drive for continuous improvement
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
