Job summary

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. in Ireland is seeking a Senior Engineer in our Bridges and Structures team to lead and deliver complex bridge and structural projects across highways, rail, and energy sectors.

You’ll help build our Ireland capability, expand workload, and strengthen client relationships while working in a client-facing role. You will collaborate across disciplines, mentor teams, champion innovation through data, automation and lean practices, and ensure delivery excellence across

Qualifications

Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or related discipline.
Excellent communication, collaboration and time management skills.
Project management skills related to bridge design or other disciplines.
Strong technical design and practical problem-solving skills.
Candidates may come from different disciplines and industries.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor teams in structural analysis, feasibility studies, tender and detailed designs, and the production of contract documents and technical reports.
Collaborate across disciplines to deliver integrated, high-quality services to clients.
Champion innovation through data, automation, lean practices, and standardisation to improve efficiency and project outcomes.
Ensure delivery excellence—commercially and technically—across all phases of project execution.
Work closely with UK, Ireland, and Global Integrated Delivery teams to optimise resources and ensure successful project delivery.
