Intersport Elverys in Ennis is seeking a Sales Assistant to support daily store operations and deliver a high level of customer service. You will work with the management team to ensure smooth opening/closing, handle stock, and assist customers with product recommendations.

The ideal candidate has at least two years in retail, strong communication, and a friendly, confident approach to driving sales while maintaining store standards and promotions.

Competenze

• Minimum of two years retail experience.
• A warm, friendly and engaging personality is essential.
• Great communication skills – outgoing, energetic, and focused on delivering a great customer experience.
• Strong product knowledge.
• Experience in Visual Merchandising desirable.
• Ability to manage workload and delegate tasks.
• Must be trustworthy and honest.
• Proficient computer skills; particularly excel, word and email.
• Available to work and provide adequate cover at least one Sunday in four.
• Initiative to undertake additional tasks as required.

Mansioni

• Open and close the store, end-of-day recovery, deliveries, stock management and cashing up.
• Assign tasks to staff and ensure procedures are followed.
• Ensure every customer receives a personal and positive service experience.
• Know our product catalogue and current promotions.
• Engage with customers to offer the best products for their needs and drive sales.
• Lead by example in maintaining Visual merchandising standards.
• Use store tools including Assisted Selling, Safesize, e-receipts, radio systems.
• Coordinate and forward cash, stock, reports and admin in the absence of management.
• Ensure daily deliveries and stock procedures are properly handled.
• Carry out other retail duties such as sales, customer experience, recovery, deliveries, etc.
• Operate till and handle financial transactions.
