Job summary

TUS Events & Sport Services in Ireland is seeking a Sport Events & Conference Manager (Full Time) to lead commercial events and conferences. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will manage client relations from enquiry to post-event debrief and ensure seamless delivery.

The role requires a degree or diploma, at least one year of experience, and strong competencies in adaptability, leadership, integrity and flexibility.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year managing events and conferences.
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken.
  • Degree in Business Studies or Diploma in Event Management.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all commercial events and conference activities.
  • Manage client relations from enquiries through to post event de-brief.
  • Key liaison with internal stakeholders incl. foodservice, estates, health & safety.
  • Deliver seamless client service.
  • Implementation of all operational procedures.
  • Assist Operations Manager with rostering, invoicing, administration and other day-to-day ops.
  • Administrator for booking IT management systems – Legend.
  • Health and safety representative for event & conference activities.
  • Management of all commercial sporting activities and athletics competitions.
  • Maintenance of all event and conference sports equipment.
  • Collecting payment, adherence to cash control procedures.
