Overview

Medforce Recruitment are seeking a Speech and Language Therapist to join the dedicated therapy team at in an acute setting based in Mullingar. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive and progressive hospital environment, delivering high-quality care to patients across a variety of clinical areas.

Responsibilities
  • Provide a quality Speech and Language Therapy service to adults with communication and swallowing difficulties in an acute setting.
  • Complete assessment and intervention for adult inpatients in the hospital.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centred care.
  • Maintain high professional standards in documentation, service delivery, and communication.
Must Have
  • A recognised qualification in Speech and Language Therapy and registration with CORU.
  • Certification and competence in managing dysphagia/feeding, eating, drinking and swallowing disorders (FEDS).
  • A professional approach to work with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
