Job summary

The Johnstown Estate in Navan, Ireland, is seeking a reliable Spa Cleaning Operative to maintain a high standard of cleanliness across the spa, including treatment rooms, changing rooms, toilets and relaxation areas. You will ensure all facilities are clean, hygienic and welcoming for our guests, with duties every day or evening as required.

The position is approximately 32+ hours per week, over 4–5 days with evening hours (5:00pm–12:00am).

Qualifications

• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Thorough and takes pride in their work.
• Able to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Flexible and willing to support the needs of the business.
• Comfortable working evening hours.
• Previous cleaning, housekeeping or hospitality experience is desirable, but full training can be provided.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and maintaining spa treatment rooms, changing rooms, toilets, relaxation areas and communal spaces
• Cleaning down and maintaining all thermal areas, including saunas, steam rooms and other thermal facilities
• Ensuring all thermal areas are thoroughly cleaned and ready for use by guests
• Replenishing towels, toiletries and other guest supplies
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately
• Cleaning floors, surfaces, mirrors and other areas as required
• Following all health, safety and hygiene procedures
• Reporting any maintenance issues, damage or low stock to management
• Working as part of the wider team to ensure the spa is maintained to a consistently high standard

About The Role

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Spa Cleaning Operative to join our team. You will be responsible for maintaining a consistently high standard of cleanliness throughout the spa, ensuring all facilities are clean, hygienic and welcoming for our guests. This role would be any 4-5 days over 7 (32+ Hours per week) with hours from 5pm to 12am
