Expleo is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to support a leading retail organisation in shaping and evolving its People & Culture technology landscape, with a focus on Workday and colleague-facing platforms.

You will partner with business, technology and third-party stakeholders to design scalable, secure, and future-ready HR, Learning, Talent and Workforce Management solutions across modern enterprise systems.

Qualifications

• Strong Solution Architecture experience in large enterprises.
• Experience designing HR, Learning, Talent or Workforce Management solutions.
• Strong understanding of Workday within HR tech ecosystems.
• Experience with enterprise integrations and API-led architectures.
• Knowledge of IAM technologies including Entra ID, SailPoint, SSO and MFA.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable tech solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end solution architecture across the People & Culture technology portfolio.
• Define target-state architectures, roadmaps and solution designs.
• Provide architectural leadership for Workday-related initiatives and HR tech programmes.
• Develop integration strategies across enterprise systems using modern API-led approaches.
• Ensure alignment with security and identity management standards (SSO, MFA).
• Collaborate with stakeholders, delivery teams and external partners to drive architectural decisions.
• Govern solution designs to align with enterprise architecture principles and strategy.

Overview

Expleo is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to support a leading retail organisation in shaping and evolving its People & Culture technology landscape. This role will focus on defining and governing architecture across a complex HR technology portfolio, with a particular emphasis on Workday and colleague-facing platforms.

You will play a key role in a major transformation programme, partnering with business, technology and third-party stakeholders to design scalable, secure and future-ready solutions across HR, Learning, Talent and Workforce Management domains.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end solution architecture across the People & Culture technology portfolio.
• Define target-state architectures, roadmaps and solution designs.
• Provide architectural leadership for Workday-related initiatives and HR technology programmes.
• Develop integration strategies across enterprise systems using modern API-led approaches.
• Ensure alignment with security and identity management standards, including SSO, MFA, Entra ID and SailPoint.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, delivery teams and external partners to drive architectural decisions.
• Govern solution designs to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture principles and technology strategy.

Essential skills

• Strong Solution Architecture experience within large enterprise environments.
• Experience designing solutions across HR, Learning, Talent or Workforce Management domains.
• Strong understanding of Workday and associated HR technology ecosystems.
• Experience with enterprise integrations and API-led architectures.
• Knowledge of Identity & Access Management technologies, including Entra ID, SailPoint, SSO and MFA.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technology solutions.

Experience

• Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale architecture solutions.
• Strong experience supporting HR transformation programmes.
• Experience working with Workday, ideally including Learning, HCM or broader People Technology platforms.
• Track record of designing integrations across complex technology landscapes.
• Experience working with senior business stakeholders, technology teams and third-party suppliers.
• Experience within retail or large workforce environments would be advantageous.
