Job summary

Cognizant Life Sciences Manufacturing is seeking a lead QA professional to drive testing for MES implementation, upgrades, and integrations in a regulated manufacturing environment, based in Limerick with hybrid work options.

You will own testing strategy, guide CSV activities per GxP/GAMP5, and build comprehensive test artifacts. The role requires strong leadership and collaboration with DevOps teams to embed automation and report metrics.

Qualifications

• Lead QA on enterprise software programs using Agile/DevOps practices.
• Experience with full-spectrum testing strategy and team leadership.
• MES testing background including Emerson Syncade/DeltaV is preferred.
• GxP/CSV/GAMP 5 knowledge with SAP/LIMS integration testing experience.

Responsibilities

• Own testing strategy across MES projects; act as release quality gate.

• Build test documentation: plans, cases, scripts (functional, regression, integration, performance, automation, UAT).
• Embed automated testing into CI/CD pipelines with dev/DevOps teams.

• Lead and develop a team of test/validation engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• - Own testing strategy across MES projects; act as release quality gate
• - Guide CSV activities in line with GxP and GAMP 5
• - Build test documentation: plans, cases, scripts (functional, regression, integration, performance, automation, UAT)
• - Embed automated testing into CI/CD pipelines with dev/DevOps teams
• - Select and maintain test automation frameworks and environments
• - Report quality metrics and risk to stakeholders
• - Lead and develop a team of test/validation engineers

What We're Looking For

• - Experience leading QA on enterprise software programs (Agile/DevOps)
• - Full-spectrum testing strategy experience, plus team leadership
• - MES testing background (Emerson Syncade/DeltaV MES preferred)
• - GxP/CSV/GAMP 5 knowledge; SAP/LIMS integration testing experience
• - Hybrid: 3 days on-site in Limerick, 2 remote
