Job summary

Waters is seeking a Software Test Engineer to advance diagnostic software platforms that connect clinical instruments, data, and workflows. You will join an Agile team focused on ensuring product quality in regulated environments and enhancing customer experience.

The role emphasizes black box and system testing, collaboration with remote teams, and adherence to design controls and FDA/ISO quality standards. Based in Ireland, Castletroy, Limerick.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline; 2+ years of software testing experience.
• At least 1 year of professional experience using C# for automation testing.
• Familiarity with automated test frameworks (Playwright, Robot Framework).
• Experience with Defect Tracking Tools, Requirement Management and Test Management Tools such as ADO, Cognition Cockpit, and JAMA.
• Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies in software development.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project teams to understand requirements, estimate, plan, design and deliver the product under test.
• Understand design and implementation details of the product under test.
• Create, execute and review test cases and documents per Design and Change controls.
• Perform complex black box, system-level, functional testing and verify end-to-end customer flows.
• Execute sprint and V&V test tasks.
• Support engineering teams with troubleshooting and validation activities.
• Engage in continuous improvement of test processes.
• Apply knowledge of software quality concepts throughout the development lifecycle.
