Job summary

Waters seeks a Software Test Engineer to advance our informatics platform, connecting clinical instruments, data and workflows to streamline testing in regulated environments. You will work with an Agile team to ensure product quality and customer experience across the software lifecycle.

The role requires a minimum of 2 years in software testing, with at least 1 year using C# for automation, and familiarity with Playwright or Robot Framework.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years of software testing experience.
• Experience with C# for automation testing (1+ year).
• Familiarity with automated test frameworks (Playwright, Robot Framework).
• Experience with Defect Tracking Tools, Requirement Management and Test Management Tools (ADO, Cognition Cockpit, JAMA).
• Agile and Scrum methodologies in software development.
• Excellent interpersonal, decision-making and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project teams to understand requirements and deliver tests.
• Understand design and implementation details of the product under test.
• Create, execute and review test cases and documents per Design and Change controls.
• Conduct black box and system-level testing to verify end-to-end flows.
• Perform sprint and V&V test execution tasks.
• Support engineering teams with troubleshooting and validation activities.
• Engage in continuous improvement of test processes.
• Apply knowledge of software quality concepts throughout the lifecycle.
