From crafting architectural builds and maintaining user documentation to exploring new technologies, your work will drive continuous improvement and innovation. This role also requires effective communication with multi-functional teams and non-technical collaborators,

Qualifications

• Strong technical expertise in C#, ASP.NET, WPF and the .NET Framework.
• 3–5+ years of experience in software testing.
• Experience writing unit and integration tests.
• Experience with source control systems such as Azure DevOps and Git.
• Excellent interpersonal, decision-making and problem-solving skills.

• Keep all user documentation current and detailed.
• Ability to analyse software functionality and build effective test cases.

BD are currently recruiting a Software Test Enginner to join us in Limerick, Ireland.

In this role, you will lead by example in writing clean, maintainable code and mentoring peers as they navigate demanding technical issues.

From crafting architectural builds and maintaining user documentation to exploring new technologies, your work will drive continuous improvement and innovation. This role also requires effective communication with multi-functional teams and non-technical collaborators, ensuring visibility and clarity throughout the development process.

Main responsibilities will include:

• Actively contribute to coding and development tasks.
• Address complex technical challenges and optimally resolve issues.
• Keep all user documentation current and detailed.
• Ability to analyse software functionality and build effective test cases
• Implement testing on Instrument and document results
• Complete tasks assigned always keeping in mind the end-user patient
• Using strong attention to detail to capture findings in a structural way
• Investigate discrepancies between expected and actual behaviour
• Communicate effectively with non-technical collaborators, translating complex technical concepts into understandable terms. Provide regular updates on project progress and technical issues.

About you

• Strong technical expertise and a minimum of 3 – 5+ years of experience in C#, ASP.NET, WPF and .NET Framework
• Ability to build test documents, especially Test plans and test reports
• Ability to write and update Test Documentation for SW releases
• Applicants should possess experience in writing unit/integration tests and developing applications using a development approach that priorities testing.
• Experience with source control systems such as Azure DevOps and Git.
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

Location: This position is based at BD's Limerick site, where you will be required to be on site 4 days per week
