Job summary

Amazon Dublin is seeking a Software Development Engineer to help build resilience and change safety tooling protecting thousands of services across Amazon's Stores businesses. You will work at the intersection of AI, data engineering, and software resilience, building autonomous agents and data infrastructure that powers reliability decisions at scale.

Join a Dublin‑headquartered team within the Central Reliability and Response Engineering (CRRE) organization.

Qualifications

Experience (non-internship) in professional software development.
Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems.
Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Responsibilities

Develop event‑driven data pipelines that ingest, validate, and enrich change events.
Build and extend the application discovery and metadata platform.
Drive AI‑powered change safety programmes with autonomous agents for real‑time risk judgments.
Integrate diverse data sources into an intelligence layer for humans and AI systems.
Operate production services with high availability, participate in on‑call rotation.
Collaborate across teams to define and deliver resilience standards.
