Job summary

Scurri Ltd in Ireland is seeking a Software Engineer for a 12-month fixed-term contract to join our Lean and Agile engineering team. You will build and maintain high-performance connectors to integrate with multiple shipping carriers and third-party APIs, while shaping scalable architectures for fast-moving retailers.

The role emphasizes Clean Code, SOLID principles, and using AI-assisted coding tools to improve throughput.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience with Python (FastAPI and Django).
• Strong grasp of software design patterns, Clean Code, and SOLID principles.
• Experience using AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or LLM-based agents) to improve personal throughput and code quality.
• Knowledge of Git and experience with advanced branching strategies.
• Proficiency in unit, integration, and acceptance testing.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and an understanding of distributed system architecture.
• A strong belief in Lean methodologies and a Build-Measure-Learn approach.

Responsibilities
