Scurri Ltd in Wexford is seeking a Software Engineer for a fixed-term 12-month contract. Join a Lean, Agile engineering team building high-performance connectors and modular architectures for global retailers.

You will bring 3+ years Python experience (FastAPI/Django), knowledge of AWS, Git, and AI-assisted coding tools to boost throughput and code quality. Strong design patterns and SOLID principles are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience with Python (FastAPI and Django).
• Strong grasp of software design patterns, Clean Code, and SOLID principles.
• Experience using AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or LLM-based agents).
• Knowledge of Git and experience with advanced branching strategies.
• Proficiency in unit, integration, and acceptance testing.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and an understanding of distributed system architecture.
• A strong belief in Lean methodologies and a Build-Measure-Learn approach.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain high-performance connectors for third-party APIs and shipping carrier networks, leveraging AI-assisted workflows to accelerate delivery.
• Architect systems capable of handling the high-velocity demands of global retailers.
• Craft modular, "plug-and-play" software architectures.
