Primus Connect is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Ireland to help increase development capacity and enhance customer experience. You will design, develop and maintain responsive web apps, collaborate with designers and stakeholders, and integrate APIs and services.

You’ll work across the stack, implement automated tests, and participate in agile ceremonies to ensure quality delivery. You should be proficient with Node.js/Express, RESTful APIs, Git/GitHub workflows, and Azure services, with

• Experience with back-end technologies (Node.js, Express) and RESTful APIs.
• Comfortable developing across the full stack from front end to services.
• Experience with Git and GitHub workflows.
• Familiarity with building microservices / event-based architectures.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with database technologies (SQL Server, MySQL, Azure SQL and NoSQL).
• Proficient in Azure services.
• Clear communicator and collaborator with stakeholders and project teams.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsabilidades

The purpose of the role is to increase development capacity to improve customer experience.

As the Software Engineer you will be responsible for:

• Design, Develop and maintain responsive web applications that provide integrated seamless experiences.
• Collaborate with designers and business stakeholders to implement quality user friendly web interfaces.
• Help create and Integrate API’s and third-party services.
• Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks to ensure code quality.
• Work closely with cross functional teams including designers, developers and business stakeholders.
• Participate in agile ceremonies such as planning, standups and retrospectives.
• Communicate effectively with stake holders and business units to better understand the need and ensure its being met through technical specifications.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for web applications, including setup, guides and API documentation.

The key skills experience required includes:
