Job summary

Genesys Galway is seeking a Software Development Engineer with a strong UI focus to join the Work Automation team. You will design, develop and maintain high-quality Angular applications that power our AI-driven experience orchestration platform, collaborating with UX designers and product managers.

The role is on-site 2–3 days per week in Galway, with responsibilities spanning from design to deployment, testing and production support. Strong JS/TS skills and REST API experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional software development with a focus on web/UI development.
• Strong JavaScript and TypeScript skills.
• Experience building modern web apps with Angular or similar frameworks (React/Vue).
• Solid HTML/CSS and responsive design understanding.
• Experience consuming/creating REST APIs.
• Experience writing unit and automated tests.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and SDLC knowledge.
• Experience with source control and modern CI/CD practices.
• Ability to investigate problems and work independently, with teamwork support.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with UX/product engineers.
