Prosper Meath, part of the Prosper Group, is a community-based organisation that provides a wide range of health-related and social services to adults with intellectual disabilities and autism. Join our dedicated team to support adults with intellectual disabilities across County Meath, helping them achieve their full potential and engage with their communities.

Hours: 37-39 hours per week

Contract: Permanent Contracts

Salary Scale: €36,391 - €52,444 (pro-rated to hours)

We are currently looking for Social Care Workers to join our Day Services in Navan, Co. Meath. The successful candidates for these roles will have a strong person-centred vision and will play a critical key role in facilitating and supporting individuals in our Day Services while upholding our core values of providing respectful, progressive, professional, and positive services.

Ideal candidates will be enthusiastic, adaptable, and innovative, with strong problem-solving skills. They will be committed to empowering the individuals we support, promoting a high-quality service that helps them lead fulfilling lives.

Requirements:

• QQI Level 7/8 Bachelor's Degree in Social Care or a related field (e.g., Psychology)
• Registered with CORU or started the application process for registration.
• Fluency in English with strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong IT skills and Proficient in Microsoft Word.
• Full, clean manual driving licence (This is an essential requirement)
• Prior experience of working in disability services is desirable.
• Knowledge of New Directions Services & Supports for adults with disabilities would be advantageous.
