Job summary

Camphill Communities of Ireland is seeking Social Care Workers to join the Carrick on Suir Community, Co. Tipperary. This permanent, full-time role offers a 40-hour week and a salary range of 39,088 to 56,349 EUR per annum.

• Hold a Level 7 QQI Framework – BA in Social Care Studies or equivalent qualification.
• CORU registration or proof that an application is in progress.
• At least 1 year experience with vulnerable adults or intellectual disabilities.
• Understanding of current national policy in disability services.
• Ability to follow and contribute to care plans for individuals.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• IT proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams.
• Full driving licence and access to own car is essential.

Camphill Communities of Ireland (CCoI) supports people with physical/intellectual disabilities and autism. CCoI operates Residential and Day Services across 15 locations, in which residents and day-attendees are supported to live an ordinary life, a life like any other.
We are currently recruiting for Social Care Workers to join our Carrick on Suir Community, Co Tipperary
Job Title: Social Care Worker
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Fulltime (40 hours per week)
Salary: 39,088-56,349 per annum

What you will need:

• Hold a minimum of a Level 7 on the QQI Framework - BA in Social Care Studies or equivalent qualification in Heath or Social Care.
• CORU registration or proof application is in progress
• Have 1 years experience of working with vulnerable adults or adults with intellectual disabilities.
• An understanding of current policy and developments at national and sectoral level in relation to Social Care within disability services.
• An ability to follow, evaluate and contribute to the further development of plans and methods to meet the ongoing needs of individuals supported.
• Effective interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.
• Proficient IT skills relevant to the role, to include Microsoft Office Excel, Word, SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams.
• A full driver's licence and availability of own car is an essential requirement.
