Job summary

Muiríosa Foundation in Tipperary is recruiting Social Care Workers and Support Workers to assist individuals with intellectual disabilities/autism in independent living, community inclusion and health/wellbeing. Roles are based in Moyne and Ardfinnan with day/evening/overnight shifts, including sleepovers.

Successful applicants will support residents and their wellbeing in a caring, respectful environment. We require CORU registration or progress toward registration, a Diploma in Social Care or

Qualifications

Qualified Diploma in Social Care or similar CORU-approved, Level 7, or equivalent.
CORU registration or in the process of registering is required.
Experience supporting adults with intellectual disabilities or autism is essential.

Responsibilities

Support individuals with independent living skills and community inclusion.
Promote the personal health and wellbeing of service users.
Work across day/evening/overnight shifts as required (sleepovers/waking nights).

Skills

HIQA Standards

Experience with ID/autism

CORU Registered or in process

Driving licence (manual)

Basic IT Skills

CORU registration readiness

Education

Diploma in Social Care / ASw in Social Care / Disability / Social Care Practice (Level 7) CORU approved

HSE Fetac/QQI Level 5 Major Award
