Overview

TTM Healthcare are currently recruiting a Social Care Worker (Nights only) on behalf of a children’s residential and fostering support service based in Tipperary. This service provides care to children between the ages of 7 and 12.

Role and Hours

The role is a permanent contract working 37.5 hours per week (NIGHTS ONLY). These are not waking nights. Shift patterns are 10pm to 8am Monday to Friday and 10pm to 10am at the weekends.

Salary

Salary: €36,945-€52,720 – premium rates apply additionally for unsociable hours

Responsibilities

To provide a stable and safe living environment for young people at the Unit and to work to a high standard of Social Care practice always.

Qualifications / Requirements
  • Eligibility to work in Ireland
  • A qualification at degree level on the National Framework of Qualifications in Social Care. Qualifications considered as a related and a relevant field are: degree in Psychology Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy, Youth and Community Work, Social Work and Social Sciences.
  • Experience working in Social Care.
