Overview

On behalf of a leading Autism service, TTM Healthcare are recruiting a Social Care Manager 1. This is a section 39 organisation. This is a full time permanent post working 39 hours per week.

Salary: a competitive salary scale ranging from point 1: €50,653 to point 7: €59,153 per annum based on a 39-hour week.

Annual Leave: 27 days / 210.6 hours of annual leave.

Responsibilities
  • As the Social Care Manager, and the Person in Charge (PIC) for two locations, oversee the day-to-day operations, ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, and maintain high-quality care.
Essential Qualifications
  • Honours Degree in Social Studies/Social Care or equivalent qualification.
  • Qualification in management.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and use of internet and email.
  • Full, clean driving licence.
  • Thorough understanding of HIQA regulations.
  • Eligibility for CORU Registration.
Experience

Essential

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Management or Supervisory role in the area of Health or Social Care.
  • Experience managing and adhering to budgets as agreed by the Finance Dept.
  • Manage the rolling rosters and allocate staff as per service needs or requirements.
  • Ability to support and drive change management.
  • Confidence and experience negotiating and liaising with external stakeholders.

Desirable:

  • Experience of applying the National Standards for Residential Services for Children and Adults with Disabilities, Trust in Care and Adult Safeguarding.
  • Experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge and experience supporting Autistic people and/or those with Intellectual Disability.
  • Ability to promote independence in individuals with support needs.
