Job summary

Elk Recruitment in Carlow is seeking an experienced Skip Driver to join our client’s growing team. A C or C+E licence is required to operate the skips and complete daily checks and paperwork.

You will drive Roll-on/Roll-off skips, deliver great customer service, and comply with RSA safety procedures. The role offers approximately 45 hours per week with a daily lunch allowance.

Qualifications

• Must have valid C licence.
• CE driving licence beneficial.
• Up-to-date Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Reliable, punctual, and capable of working on your own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Transporting roll on - roll off skips between sites safely and efficiently.
• Completing all assigned routes safely, efficiently, and professionally.
• Carrying out daily vehicle inspections and safety checks.
• Completing all required paperwork accurately and on time.
• Ensuring full compliance with RSA regulations and company health & safety procedures.
• Delivering excellent customer service and representing the company professionally at all times.

Experience you need:

• Previous experience driving and loading skips is essential
• Valid C licence is essential
• Valid CE Driving Licence beneficial
• Up-to-date Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Reliable, punctual, and capable of working on your own initiative
• Strong customer service and communication skills
