Job summary

Sigmar Recruitment is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to join a growing infrastructure contractor delivering essential water and wastewater projects nationwide in Ireland. The role requires strong leadership, robust safety awareness, and proven civil engineering oversight.

You will oversee day-to-day site operations, coordinate staff and subcontractors, and ensure timely delivery with high quality standards across multiple sites. A Safe Pass and relevant site certifications are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as Site Supervisor or similar supervisory role.
• Proven experience in water infrastructure, wastewater or heavy civil engineering projects.
• Strong organisational and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication, coordination and problem-solving abilities.
• Up-to-date industry training and relevant site certifications.
• Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification.
• Flexibility to work on projects nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating site staff, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Supervising civil engineering, groundworks, water and wastewater activities.
• Ensuring project deadlines and milestones are achieved.
• Maintaining high standards of quality control across all site activities.
• Managing labour timesheets, supplier records and HSQE documentation.
• Promoting and ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.
• Communicating effectively with project managers, engineers, clients and other stakeholders.

About Your New Role:
